In 1986, the Nike Air Force 1 redefined the role of sneakers in urban culture. White-on-white Uptowns, as they came to be called, quickly became the footwear of many urban drug dealers who wore them in pristine condition as signifiers of wealth and status.

My Collecting Story

My family immigrated to Canada from the Middle East when I was 10 years old. Originally from South India, we spent the early years of being a family moving from country to country, my father always seeking a destination that would bring a more promising life for us.
