Tinker Hatfield’s design for the Air Jordan XI is one of Nike’s most popular sneakers and one of the designer’s favorite shoes. Featuring a translucent outsole and patent-leather upper, Michael Jordan correctly predicted that the XI would be worn as a dress shoe with a tuxedo. Jordan wore a sample pair of XIs for his return to the NBA, creating a stir among sneakerheads. This shoe, in the Black/White Concord colorway, was signed by Jordan.
